Getting in touch
The quickest way to reach us is the contact form or an email to meshpit@meshpit.co.za. We reply by email, usually within two business days. Include the email address you signed in with if your question is about a payment, your credits or your subscription.
What we sell
MeshPit makes tools for 3D printing. MeshPit Desktop, STL repair, the Lithophane Maker, PNG to SVG, Pipe Connectors, the Light Box Maker and the Cake Topper Maker are free.
Exports from the online Project Box Designer and Surface Features are paid. Every account gets 3 free exports. After that an export costs one credit, and a credit costs R 20. Instead of credits you can subscribe for R 199 a month or R 1 499 a year, which makes those exports unlimited while the subscription lasts. Prices are in South African rand and include every charge. The pricing page has the details.
Paying and delivery
You pay by card through Paystack, a payment provider licensed in South Africa. MeshPit never sees or stores your card number. Paystack's checkout encrypts it, and Paystack charges it.
Credits reach your account as soon as Paystack confirms the payment, normally within a minute. A subscription starts the same way and renews automatically each month or year until you cancel it from your account page. An export is delivered as a download in your browser the moment it is built, and you are charged only once the file has been built. Your account page shows your credits and subscription, and you get an email receipt for every payment.
Your rights
Our terms of use set out the agreement you make when you use MeshPit. Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives you seven days after a purchase to cancel it. Our refund policy explains how that applies to credits, exports and subscriptions, and how to ask for a refund. Our privacy policy explains what personal information we keep and how we protect it.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, contact us first and we will try to put it right. If we can't agree, you can complain to the National Consumer Commission (thencc.org.za) or, for a question about your personal information, to the Information Regulator. South African law governs every purchase from MeshPit.
