Every new account gets 3 free exports, with no card needed. A free export has the MeshPit logo raised on the inside floor of the box.

3 free remixes per export
Every export is saved in My projects. Move a hole or change a size and export again, and the next 3 exports of that project are free. Downloading the same file again is always free.

One credit is one export, with no logo. Each one comes with its own 3 remixes.
Credit packs
Credits come in packs, all at R 18 per credit. Counting remixes, each credit can give you up to 4 STL files of the same project.

How remixes work
- Every export of a project, free or paid, brings 3 remixes of it.
- When the project has no remixes left, its next export uses a credit and brings 3 more.
- Remixes of a free export keep the logo, and remixes of a paid export have none.
- Deleting a project deletes its remaining remixes. Credits are not refunded.
Paying
Buy credits from your account page after signing in. You pay through Paystack in South African rand, and we email you a receipt.
Example: you export your first box (free), notice the USB hole is a little low, fix it and export again (a free remix). That's two STLs, and you've still got 2 free exports left.

Buying and activating
Sign in and pay once through Paystack, in South African rand. There's no subscription. We email you the license key, and it's also shown in the designer's account menu under Desktop license. Paste the key into the desktop app under Settings.
One key, one computer
A key activates MeshPit on one computer and needs the internet only to activate. After that the app works offline. If you reinstall MeshPit or move to a new computer, email meshpit@meshpit.co.za and we'll send you a new key.
Designing more than a few boxes? A license costs less than 17 online exports, and its exports never run out. Credits you've already bought stay in your account for the online designer.

Is MeshPit free?
The Lithophane Maker, Mesh Repair and the desktop model library are free, with no limit on how much you use them. The online Project Box Designer gives every account 3 free STL exports, then costs R 18 per export. A desktop license costs R 299 once and adds projects and the Project Box Designer with unlimited exports.
Is the Project Box Designer free?
A free account gets 3 free exports, which have the MeshPit logo raised on the inside floor. After that each export costs R 18 and has no logo, and every export includes 3 free re-exports of the same project. A MeshPit Desktop license (R 299 once) includes the designer with unlimited exports.
What is a remix in the Project Box Designer?
A remix is a free export of a project you've already exported. Each export, free or paid, includes 3 remixes, so you can move a hole or change a size and export the project again without using a credit. When a project has no remixes left, its next export uses a credit and brings 3 more. Remixes belong to their project, so deleting a project deletes its remaining remixes.
Do I pay again to download an STL I already exported?
No. Every export is saved in My projects, and downloading the same file again is always free. You only use an export when you download a changed design.
Is the MeshPit Desktop license a subscription?
No. You pay R 299 once. The license covers every new version released in the 12 months after you buy it, and those versions keep working for good.
Can I use one desktop license on more than one computer?
A license key activates MeshPit on one computer. The free model library needs no license, so it runs on as many computers as you like. If you reinstall MeshPit or move to a new computer, email meshpit@meshpit.co.za and we'll send you a new key.
How do I pay for MeshPit?
